We’re a small team of engineers, researchers and clinicians building production AI for the parts of the world that don’t get headlines. The boring, expensive, life‑altering parts.

— Our story

We started where the work was hardest.

DeepMind Technologies started in 2021, with a single contract: build a phone‑based ROM scanner for a clinic owner who was tired of $4,000 goniometer carts. That product became the DML MSK Platform.

Five years later, we still take the same approach: a real problem, a small team, real users, and a working artifact at the end of every sprint. We don’t sell promises. We ship things.

What we believe about building AI.

The model is the easy part.

Every production AI system is 10% model and 90% product, infrastructure, evals and trust. We invest accordingly.

Ship the smallest thing that proves it.

Two‑week prototypes beat six‑month strategies. Every time. We’ve never seen the opposite.

Talk to the user. Always.

Every engineer at DML talks to the people who use what they ship. No proxy stakeholders. No PMs in the loop.

Telemetry from day one.

If we can’t measure it, we don’t ship it. AI without evals is theatre.

Compliance is a feature.

HIPAA, SOC 2, audit logs and BAAs are part of the build, not a tax we add later.

Senior‑heavy teams.
